Schedule An Appointment
After you’ve scheduled and appointment, we will call you to discuss your home euthanasia visit. If you aren’t sure the time is right, you should review your pet’s quality of life.
Arrival
The doctor will meet your cat or dog and talk with you about the procedure and answer any questions you may have.
Sedation
We do not want your pet to be in any discomfort or feel any anxiety during the process. The doctor will give a sedative to your pet that will put him or her into a comfortable rest before administering the euthanasia solution.
Euthanasia
After your pet is sedated and you are ready, the doctor will administer the euthanasia solution then listen to your pets heart, and will let you know when he or she has passed. This is a peaceful, painless process.
Aftercare
You have the decision of keeping your deceased pet with you to bury at home, to elect in communal cremation, or to have your pets cremated remains returned to you. Please see Fees for more information.
