Home base — no travel fee for most of Scottsdale.
Scottsdale is where Pets At Peace is based, so most Scottsdale visits fall well inside our no-travel-fee radius. From Old Town to North Scottsdale, we can typically offer same-day or next-day appointments.

Scheduling a Visit in Scottsdale
Because our base is in Scottsdale, this is where we can most reliably offer same-day appointments — often within a few hours of your call if your pet is in active distress. Next-day scheduling is available for families who want a bit more time to prepare or gather with the rest of the family first.
We regularly visit families throughout Scottsdale, including Old Town Scottsdale, North Scottsdale, McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch, DC Ranch, Grayhawk, and Shea Corridor.
What a Home Euthanasia Visit Includes
Every Scottsdaleappointment is performed by Dr. Tiffany Boisjolie or a veterinarian she has personally chosen. No special preparation is needed on your end — just choose a spot where your pet is comfortable, whether that's a favorite bed, the couch, or the backyard. If your pet is eating, go ahead and offer their favorite food or treats beforehand, and continue any pain medication as normal on the day of the visit.
The doctor will first talk with you about the procedure and answer any questions before beginning. Your pet is then given a sedative, allowing them to settle into a comfortable rest before the euthanasia solution is administered — a peaceful, painless process. The doctor stays as long as your family needs afterward; there is no clock on your grief.
Afterward, you can choose to keep your pet's body for burial at home, elect communal cremation, or have your pet's cremated remains returned to you individually. Ashes are generally returned within 7-10 days; for individual and private cremation, your pet is identified with a numbered tag that stays with them through the entire process, checked against your paperwork before the ashes are released back to you. See the full fee and aftercare breakdown for exact pricing on each option.

“This is my 3rd time using Pets At Peace. I had Dr. Kristin this time and she was absolutely wonderful. She is so kind and was so sweet and gentle with my dog. She explained everything that may happen so you are aware. She took everything slow and only proceeded with next steps when I was ready. She gave me time alone with my dog after he had passed, and offered time throughout. Again she just made sure I was okay to go to the next step. No rushing or pushing. She is very patient and considerate. She truly made the most horrible situation better. I have also had Dr. Tiffany twice in the past and she is also very wonderful. Being able to do this at home relieves so much anxiety for myself and my pets. It's a very peaceful transition. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Dr. Kristin.”

“Dr. Tiffany did a phenomenal job from start to finish. She took the time to get to know my cat at the start of the appointment, and I felt absolutely no rush to get things started. When we finally did begin the euthanization, it happened where I chose, my cat was in my arms, and Dr. Tiffany was steady and caring with every step. After my cat had passed she continued to treat him with a profound level of care and respect. Additionally, at every point during the appointment, I felt that Dr. Tiffany was holding space and showing respect for my own emotions, big and small. I couldn't have asked for a calmer, more gentle, caring, and respectful experience with such a tough choice and time. Dr. Tiffany's kindness, respect, patience, and understanding made the experience of saying goodbye to a cat I'd known and deeply loved for almost two decades something I can look back on knowing I made the right decision for my him, that he passed in a place he felt comfortable in, in the arms of those he loved.”

“I will always be grateful to Dr. Tiffany. She made me feel very at ease. She provided extremely compassionate care for not only my beloved dog but she also offered the right comfort and reassuring words for me. She listened, answered all my questions, and guided me on such a hard journey. I was recommended to her by a client of mine and I would highly recommend her to all who are in need.”

“Dr Tiffany and her team helped me and my cat family with so much care and grace. We had to send two of our beloved boys over the rainbow within only a few weeks. Each time, Dr Tiffany entered our home like an angel with compassion and sensitivity and helped each boy gently pass on while in my arms. I could not imagine a better way, and strongly recommend Pets at Peace.”

“Tiffany and Amy were so kind and compassionate. They did not rush us, plenty of time was given to us to say goodbye to our fur baby. He had lymphoma, his breathing was getting labored, he wasn't to put his right leg down. We did not want him to suffer. Six had a big personality. The house feels so empty without him Several years ago I had to say goodbye to one of my other fur babies. The man that came to put her to rest was horrible. No kindness, no compassion. Cold as ice. Tiffany and Amy were so warm and caring. I would recommend them 100% Thank You so much for taking care of our fur baby, Six RIP”
